Who is the Leadership Playbook for?

This Leadership Playbook is perfect for those who:

  • Have recently become leaders and now manage a team and are after some upskilling.
  • Want to become leaders and want to be proactive in developing their skills.
  • Have been leaders for a while, but never had any training and want to make sure they are on the right track.

Do I need to be in a formal leadership position for this to be useful?

Not at all! In fact, proactively building your leadership skills before you have a formal leadership role is a great way to make sure you're well equipped when the opportunity arises. The daily challenges have also been designed so you can complete them without being in a formal leadership role. The challenges in Chapter 4 focused on delegating may require you to think a little more creatively about how you complete them, but they should be possible.

Who is the Leadership Playbook not for?

By its very nature of having challenges included, it means you will need to be pretty active trying out the new behaviours and skills you are learning about. If you are not in a position where you want to push yourself out of your comfort zone or try new things just yet, you may not get full value from this.

How long will the daily challenges take?

For each week there is about 10-15 minutes of new content to absorb to set you up for the challenges that week. You should be able to complete each daily challenge in 15 minutes, or as part of your working day. Most of the challenges have been designed so it's not an additional task on top of your day-to-day work.

Can I retake the challenge?

Yes! In fact, we encourage it as it will help embed, improve and refine your skills. All online resources and videos will be available to you for one year from activation.

How is this different to a traditional course?
