A mindset shift towards treating interview responses as mini-stories rather than just interview answers can make a response really captivating and interesting.
As with a good kids story, in an interview response you should cover off:
1. The "Once upon a time...." moment
2. What did the hero of the story (i.e. you) do?
3. Was it a happy ending or a sad ending?
4. What was the moral of the story?
